Public kya kahegi? Bollywood hunk Akshay Kumar doesn’t want to portray a drunken character on screen and apparently this is the reason why he opted out from the remake of Hollywood hit The Hangover.
As a daily reports, after being flaked for his crass dialogues in Kambakkht Ishq, Akshay is not keen to do such comedies, but would rather do ‘clean’ movies. The original ‘Hangover’ is about gang of guys who lose their about-to-wed friend during their drunken misadventures. The movie was a hit and Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala, who is also a friend of Akki, bought the rights to make it in Hindi.
Reports also say that Akshay had to choose between ‘Hera Pheri 4’ and ‘The Hangover’ remake; coincidentally both the movies are being directed by Anees Bazmee. And Akki selected the fourth version of Hera Pheri.
Even if Akki is missing out from the star cast, don’t worry. The makers have reportedly roped in Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt on board for this raunchy, all-boys movie.
